Second innings of Think Pink sees its comeback in a bigger & better avatar to spread awareness about breast cancer
Samsaara, the city’s luxury shopping destination launched the Think Pink exhibition to highlight how fashion, if used properly can address social concerns and issues as well as any other platform.
The Think Pink exhibition features Think Pink collections by some of India’s leading designers including Arpan Vohra, Deepika Gehani, Jamini Ahluwalia, Monisha Jaising, Neeta Lulla, Pallavi Jaikishan, Satya Paul, Seema Khan, Shane & Falguni Peacock and Surily Goel.
The exhibition is organized in association with Devieka Bhojwani and Samsaara will contribute 20 percent of the sales proceeds of the collection during exhibition to the Women’s Cancer Initiative – TATA Memorial Hospital.
To kickstart the weeklong Breast Cancer fundraiser Sanjay Kapoor and Devieka Bhojwani hosted a high tea to launch Samsara’s Think Pink line. Naseeb Kapoor, Queenie Dhody, Laila Lamba, Indu Mahtani, Surily Goel, Seema Khan, Haseena Jethmalani, Raell Padamsee, Kavita Choughule, Ruchika Bhojwani, Neeta Lulla, Deepika Gehani, Esther Daswani , Cherry Khemka were all dressed in matching Think Pink T-shirts to mark the occasion.
Some of the other guests who attended were Udita Goswami, Mohit Suri, for delhi designer Arpan Vora, Sharmilla Khanna, Ramona Narang, Tanaz Doshi, Champa Doshi, Lata Patel, Archana Goel, Jamini Ahluwalia, Sangeeta Assomull, Bijal Meswani, Elina Meswani, Guni Murjani, etc.
