An air of arrogance, some sarcastic comments, and a crisp slap on the face of the media. Rani acts haughty after the recent tussle between her body guards and the local press in Varanasi. Addressing a press conference, the Rani of Bollywood did apologise to the media. But, the ’sorry’ was more of an arrogant act, after which she demanded a similar response from the media. “On behalf of my production crew, I am apologising to the media if some misbehaviour has happened with the press. We will also want the press to apologise because if they have misbehaved then they should not be reluctant to say sorry,” Rani said.
During the entire press conference, Rani answered the questions fired at her in a manner of sarcasm, which wasn’t quite apt for the talented actress.
The incident took place on Monday as the crew was heading back to their hotel after a long day’s shoot, some of the journalists tried to get close to them including Rani and Konkana Sen. Journalists accused Rani’s bouncers of rough man handling them. The film Chudiyan under the Yash Raj Banner is being directed by Pradeep Sarkar. It also stars Bollywood biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan.
