Mumbai, November 9, 2007: It is Diwali – the festival of lights. But on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa - Dancing with the Stars- it is once again time to bid good bye to yet another contestant. The joy and the festivities of Diwali are bound to diminish with yet another ouster. Each eliminated contestant is sorely missed even though the laughter continues. After all as they say the show must go on.
So who will stay on and who will not is once again in the hands of the viewers. Repeated requests by judges to take cues from the marks they give seems to have little effect on the viewers who have been rather unfair in voting out some contestants.
Perhaps, the fault lies in the fact that they vote for the weakest contestant hoping to help him/her stay on while forgetting to vote for the one who deserves to stay in the competition. Watch Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa carefully this week to see who deserves to stay on for working ever so hard and putting up their best performance and who falls short by that wee bit.
Sandhya is a brilliant dancer, Prachi is getting there with each passing week, Negi’s entertaining performances are simply getting better each week and Ronit is simply superb while Mika has only now realized that he could have an edge if he works harder while Jay turns out a surprising feat and Sonali seems to have risen like the phoenix!
Who would you like to see in the last lap and who would you not? It is a hard task at hand but one that needs to be done. Watch out for the tremendous performances in the gala round vote for the best.
