EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Taare Zameen Par (Singers: Shankar Mahadevan, Bugs Bhargava, Dominique Cerejo, Vivinenne Pocha)
Rating: 7/10
The title track of Taare Zameen Par describes the melody instore for its listeners, spread over a palette of various situational tracks. Though, one can’t stop raving about the music and rendition inclusive of the rhythm, one cannot ignore the overheard sound that has been evident in many compositions of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. All in all, Taare Zameen Par is all poetry immersed in the overheard sound of music.
Kholo Kholo (Singer: Raman Mahadevan)
Rating: 7/10
Belonging to the genre of soft rock, Kholo Kholo is a heart whelming track sung by Raman Mahadevan at the outset of guitar being strummed in the backdrop. Kholo Kholo stands out due to its simplistic musical set up and extremely meaningful lyrics, quite understandable to the listeners.
Bum Bum Bole (Singer: Aamir Khan, Shaan)
Rating: 6/10
Bum Bum Bole, crooned mainly by Shaan has Aamir Khan starting the proceedings with a ticklish set of funny words. The track appears to be a situational one where Aamir would be seen interacting and playing with the school kids. All in all, Bum Bum Bole will work well with its video.
Jame Raho (Singer: Vishal Dadlani, Shankar Mahadevan)
Rating: 6/10
Rendered by Vishal Dadlani and Shankar Mahadevan, Jame Raho starts with a unique sound of an alarm bell. The track talks about the life of a student right from the word ‘Wake Up’ in the morning, till they are bogged down by the emptied tanks of energy. The song is bound to go well in the background, describing the life of young buds.
