Rhythm Dhol Bass a.k.a. RDB, the cross culture band is all set to make its Bollywood debut in Vipul Shah’s next flick Namaste London. The band has churned out some hot numbers like the hit “Aaja mahi ..” The band is going to perform on none other than Himesh Reshammiya’s composition in the movie.
The band has gained immense popularity and recognition in the world market, with a strong following among the NRI’s settled in the UK and US. The band continues to be a major hit in the Asian region as well.
In recent times, many of the Indi-pop artists based in US and Europe, especially UK have been introduced into the Bollywood. Likes of Sean Paul, Rishi Rich, and James et al. were quite a rage with hot Bollywood numbers.
The movie ‘Namaste London’ starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, is slated for a 2007 release.
