After making an impressive debut in Imitiaz Ali’s Socha Na Tha along side Ayesha Takia, actor Abhay Deol has continued to work with first time directors in films like “Ahista Ahista”, “Honeymoon Travels Privated Limited” and “Ek Chalis Ki Last Local”.
But the actor is disappointed that not all in the industry are ready to take risks the way he does.
Says Abhay, “Shemaroo took a back seat when it came to packaging and marketing Manorama Six Feet Under properly. Despite being a film with an off-track storyline it was released in the typical way, with the music release coming first.”
