The acclaimed 1999 flick Hello Brother is all set to be revisted… in a time-tale twist.

Yes, Sohail Khan is close to a script for a sequel to the Salman Khan starrer, and has even given it a production title… Hello Father!

The film is expected to be a time travel tale loosley based on the 1985 Robert Zemeckis’ science-fiction comedy Back To The Future. Salman Khan will reprise his role and also play an additional role. Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan are both expected to star. Rani Mukherjee will not be asked to appear in the sequel and Katrina Kaif is expected to be the eye-candy.

Salman himself has said, “We plan to make Hello Father with Sohail Khan as producer. We had made Hello Brother in 1999, so now the sequel will be Hello Father. The director is yet to be finalised but the plot will be on the lines of Back To The Future.”

This will be the second film on the same theme, as director Vipul Shah is drawing up plans for similiar flick, with Akshay Kumar in the lead role. His film is titled Action Replay. A friend of Shah has gone on record to say, “Yes, Akshay is doing a film with Vipul, which is loosely based on the Steven Spielberg-produced Back To The Future. The film is an adaptation of a Gujarati play Action Replay which was based on Back To The Future. But the project will roll only after Akshay finishes Vipul’s Singh Is King.”
