Eros Entertainment have had one of their biggest disasters in the UK, as the John Abraham starrer No Smoking flopped in it’s first weekend.
The film, which also stars Bollywood beauty Ayesha Thakia, drew in only 2386 people (based on an average price of a cinema ticket – £4.50). It’s total collections for the weekend stood at a bleak $22,204US (£10,737UK – INR 875,170.81). The film opened at an alltime Eros low of 37 in the UK Top 50.
However, Eros have not lost much money as the film was only shown on 15 screens, which gave it a respectable per screen average of $1,480.
