EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Presented by Vikram Bhatt, Mumbai Salsa describes about the confused lingo which thrives in the lives of the hip hop generation of todays’ times. It tackles the miseries of different people striving for love, fun and ambition in a fast city like Mumbai. Today, relationships are like a popular deo brand. Strong when its on, and frown when its gone!
Mumbai Salsa is the name of a pub where the pot pourri of the characters takes place. For them, life is subject to change…in a weird way though. Night clubs and pubs have given a new definition to the word ‘time pass’, something that takes you away from a bubble called relationships.
Mumbai Salsa talks about eight principal characters played by Virdas, Indraneil Sengupta, Dilip Thadeshwar, Raymond Irani, Manjari Phadnis, Amruta Khanvilkar, Linda Arsenio and Neelam Chauhan.
Rajeev Sharma (Virdas) is an advertising executive, who is living amidst the world of shattering relationships. Yet to find his woman of dreams, Rajeev strives hard to overcome his displeasures.
On the other hand, there is Karan (Indraneil Sengupta) who is the exact reflection of the character played by Akshay Kumar and his friends in Heyy Babyy. For Rajeev, girls are equal to fun minus commitment.
