In Imitiaz Ali’s Jab We Met, Kareena Kapoor plays the role of Geet, a talkative Sikh girl from Bhatinda.

For her role, Kareena had to familiarise herself with the mannerisms and lingo of the region.

This also happens to be the first time Kareena is essaying a proper Punjabi character and during the shoot she was given a few dialogues with her ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapur in pure Punjabi.
