Producer-director Roshan started his career as an actor in the 1970s and has acted in over 70 films.

He then set up his own production company Filmkraft and has been producing and directing Hindi movies including Khudgarz, Kishen Kanhaiya, Karan Arjun, etc.

He launched his son Hrithik Roshan as an actor with Kaho Naa…Pyar Hai and later directed him in the science fiction film Koi…Mil Gaya and its sequel, the super hero film Krrish.
