In a recent interview with Abhishek Bachchan, we asked him whether he prefers to read Aishwarya’s name as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Aishwarya Bachchan.

To which Abhishek replied, “How would that make any difference?I’d like her to call herself by any name that makes her comfortable. To me it doesn’t matter what she calls herself. What she is as a person is what matters.

However certain legalities have come into play after marriage. Whatever she’s required to call herself, she will.”
