Akshay Kumar entered the US Box Office charts with new release Bhool Bhulaiyaa at number 25.
The film was the 5th highest new entry of the weekend, in what was a bumper weekend of releases, a total of 15. Showing on 55 screens, the movie made a total of £512,000 exactly, with a per screen average of $9,309.
Meanwhile, the Yash Raj release Laaga Chunari Mein Daag flopped in the US. The Rani Mukherjee call-girl drama made a total of $320,987, showing on 5 more screens than Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and ending up with a per screen average of $5,349. The film opened at a bleak number 32.
Both movies however have done extremely well in the UK, breaking into the Top 10.
