Saawariya’s music composer Monty Sharma is not new in the field of music composition. He has earlier composed for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas and Black.

It was actually during the shooting of Black, that Bhansali realized the qualities possessed by Monty. Monty not only lived upto the expectations set by his director but also matched the work of great composers that Sanjay used to shoot his scenes with.

Monty also stunned Amitabh Bachchan who went on to call Monty a genius.
