The film keeps Bollywood in the backdrop. After Om Shanti Om and Khoya Khoya Chand, this is probably the third big film being made with a similar theme.
Likewise, producer Farhan Akhtar, who is also acting in this film, has made it clear that Luck By Chance will be a more contemporary take on the industry.
