Sharad Malhotra better known as Sagar in ZEE TV’s ever popular series ‘Dulhann Banoo Mein Teri’ is quitting over several reasons.
Reports in Indian press suggest Sharad was becoming quite demanding, which was causing rifts between him, the producers of the drama and the broadcaster ZEE TV.
A production source the show told Mumbai Mirror, “It’s surprising how Sharad has changed in the past one year. Sharad used to be so calm as a newcomer. But, as ‘Dulhann…’ started getting popular with the audiences, he also started showing his true colours. His transformation is too drastic. He is under the impression that now that he has become a star everyone must bear with him. In fact, he has been demanding huge sums of money too.”
The source further added, “When the channel could not tolerate his growing tantrums, they decided to chuck him. The creative team is planning to scrap his character by killing Sagar in the show. Obviously, it will be a shock for the viewers as the show is really doing well.”
Sagar’s character will be killed off in days to come but what remains to be seen is how Divyanka Tripathi who plays the lead character Vidya in the soap reacts to this. It’s common knowledge that Divyanka and Sharad are really good pals and recently they refused to shoot for the soap because they were unhappy with the lack of communication in the production department of the soap.

sagar if u or if vidya will leave this daily soap than there is no interest will remain for the daily viewers like me.for eg i liked watching karam apna apna on star plus after leaving of iqbal khan to this serial i have also left it so plz don’t leave it

I love the show. However, it is due to have a good ending. Lots of things have happened. Since it is a fairytale, Sindoora should get her punishment from her brother.
On the tpoic of Sharad or Divyanka leaving, it’s not a good idea. The two of them should also not be too greedy. They are loved by fans and can be hated by fans also for leaving them hanging.
Well I think the 15$ a month I pay to watch Dulhann and Satt Phere is worth seeing you on the show. I am sorry to see you leave and wish that you would reconsider. I have learned your language from watching this soap drama I am American & live in Canada married to a Pakistani. I love the culture and what you both have shown of it. This drama is really great I watched Sindoor until it was off and have watched Dulhann since day one. Please talk like a business man and think this is a great opportunity for you and your family don’t be greedy. You are great and can go far with this show.
