Manchester United footballers Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo will be seen in a Bollywood movie, if rumours are to be believed.
The talented duo, who helped Manchester United to the English Premiership title earlier this year, will be seen playing themselves in John Abraham starrer Goal. The film is about a football club facing closure unless they start winning games. Hence, the manager of this team takes the lads on a inspiring trip to Old Trafford, home of Manchester United.
The movie’s director Vivek Agnihotri said it was the first time that the club would be associated with an Indian movie. “We have shot in (the) club premises which is also another first for any Indian movie,” he said.
The Times of India said England’s Wayne Rooney and Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo will be among the United heroes featured in promotional clips for the movie.
