EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Mumbai Salsa (Singer: Adnan Sami, Alisha Chinai)
Rating: 7/10
The movie may not carry the appeal of the cool n hip form of dance but the title track Mumbai Salsa does follow an unconventional route. Crooned by Adnan Sami and Alisha, Mumbai Salsa will appeal to the youth who follow the Hinglish lyrics written explicitly nowadays. Have a ball with Mumbai Salsa!
Friday (Singer: Gayatri Ganjawala)
Rating: 5/10
It takes close to 1 minute and 20 seconds for the female singer Gayatri Ganjawala to get behind the mike for a orchestrated track ‘Friday’. The innovative tunes presented in a blend of 80s music and urban pop is a let off for the listeners. Gayatri Ganjawala, wife of Kunal Ganjawala renders heartlessly, adding to the overall drawbacks of the track.
Choti Si (Singers: Adnan Sami)
Rating: 7/10
Choti Si sets the perfect setting for the music composer Adnan Sami to croon in his inevitable style. The track proves out to be a good hear as the amalgamation of love and pain is clearly transferred through the slow rhythm and modulating rhythm of Adnan Sami. The song lends an Indianized feel and will appeal to Adnan’s fans especially.
Akeli Zindagi (Singer: Shaan)
Rating: 5/10
The song bears an uncanny resemblance to the title track Mumbai Salsa. Rendered by Shaan, Akeli Zindagi fails to rise the meet the expectations of a decent listening experience. The soft rock mixed with the Hindi lyrics sounds odd in the October setting.
