With ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – Challenge 2007′ coming to an end this weekend, the channel is making sure its winner from 2005, Debojit, is not forgotten.
Debojit’s claim to fame has been his singing. The channel has decided to capitalise on that in a music-based show called ‘Rock the Dhun’. Reportedly, the show bears a strange similarity with ‘Harmony’ (on Sony Entertainment Television Asia) which has recently gone off air.
Some prominent singers will appear as guests on the show. They will sing both old and new songs, with a live orchestra playing. Debojit told Mumbai Mirror, “I’m really excited about my new show. I’m happy that they chose me to host it. Alongside hosting, I will also sing on the show with the guests.”
Like all other reality show winners, Debojit has been busy with stage shows. “I have been travelling and busy doing shows in different parts of the country. I have, so far, shot only two days for the show. Shooting for the second schedule is set, for this month end,” he adds.

i think the show which Debojit is going to host will become a Hit because he has good fan following and also he himself sings good. thank god.. he was not in Himesh Reshamiya’s Gharana…otherwise he would not have won….Himesh Reshamiya….for the overseas audience is a disgusting figure on Saregamapa…you know why….he wanted his Vinit to win in 2005 but …..poor chap had to lose for Debojit because of his Guru’s Bad ways of advertising….even in 2007’s Saregamapa…..he is doing the same thing…..seems like Aneek will also lose ……for a group of people watching Saregamapa,……this year…we usually switch on to other channel on seeing Himesh talking….we really hate him……we don’t know why…..only when Himesh stops talking…we start…watching Saregamapa…..so….disgusting….
Good Luck, Debojit….you will still be our favourite…..Aneek from 2007 Saregamapa sings very well like you but loses votes for others just because of his Guru….overseas Audiences are voting for Raja and Amanath….even Ismail does like Himesh but he is not that critical than Himesh….Because of Himesh’s criticality…Aneek is losing vote….
