05 October 2007: Fashion Designer Nalandda Bhandari hosted an exclusive preview of her Spring/Summer 2008 Collection titled “Gloss” for Lakme Fashion Week 2007 at Zoya today. The afternoon saw the designer’s excellent Spring-Summer 08 collection being displayed by model Rebecca.
Nalandda Bhandari’s Spring-Summer 08 Collection “Gloss” is about the sheen of the ‘real’ woman of today and celebrates the woman who wants to be discreetly glamorous. She is a woman who has a private life with memorable moments; yet her spirit is playful and confident. Void of theatrics and over-caffeinated sexiness, GLOSS is for the woman who wants to shine and take pleasure in a luxurious feel on her body; without having any qualms about it. She is naughty, coy and high-maintenance with intelligent-chic stamped all over her, comfortable in her own skin.
This prêt-a-porter collection by Nalandda Bhandari spans a mix of opulence, modern charm and deconstructed drama. Marked by luxe fabrics such as French lace and rich satins with a sublime burst of colours and intimate embellishment, the collection is highlighted with details and impeccable finishing.
