The famous song ‘Mehbooba mehbooba’ from the yester year’s blockbuster Sholay will get a new face with Abhishek Bachchan playing the cameo of Jalal Agha in the remake of sorts of the 1975 magnum opus of the Sippy’s. The item song will have oomph queen Urmila Matondkar gyrating to the choreography of Ganesh Hegde.
Junior Bachchan’s short appearance in the movie comes as an unexpected surprise as he was earlier slated to play the role of Veeru in Verma’s version of Sholay. Ram Gopal Verma is quoted as saying that “he volunteered himself as he was very excited about the track.”
Father-son pair of the Bachchans have earlier appeared in songs in the movies Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and Bunty aur Babli. It is for the first time that Big B will be a spectator while Chotta B wooes Urmila in the remix-version of the catchy number composed by the legendary R.D.Burman.
