In Farah Khan’s second directorial venture, the character of Shah Rukh Khan plays a superstar in the second half.

This character insists that an absurd song be composed for him to sing and dance on stage.

Says Javed Akhtar, “You must understand every song in a film has to go with the given situation and character.”
