EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
After being part of the creative team in superhit films like Satya, Jhankar Beats and Masti, cinematographer Mazhar Kamran is now ready to release his directorial debut titled Mohan Das.
The film is made on a small scale with talented actors like Sonali Kulkarni, Nakul Vaid, Sushant Singh, Sharbani Mukherjee, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Uttam Haldar, Aditya Shrivastav, Akhilendra Mishra and Govind Namdeo.
Made under the banners of Vertika Films Pvt Ltd., Mohan Das is produced by Abha Sonakia.
Unlike its resemblance to the name Mohandas Karam Chand Gandhi, the film is a black comedy and derives zero similarity from the patriot.
The plot of Mohan Das revolves around a man who is lost in his own country. The problems faced by a common man are dealt with open satire in the film.
The film has been shot completely and is undergoing post production work under the supervision of Narayan Parshuram (Karadi Tales fame).
The music of Mohan Das is composed by Vivek Priyadarshan and the lyrics have been written by Yash Malviya an V K Sonakia.
