The script lacks punch and there is no attempt at understanding the mind of today’s generation and their outlook on life. Though the climax turns out to be the best part of the film, it eventually follows a long lost path to reach its destination.
Musically, the songs are wasted amidst the light of bad situations. Cinematography is strictly okay. Nothing inspiring as such! The art direction gives a dull look to the film.
Actingwise, Shreyas leads the way with a good performance. Imaad Shah shows signs of improvement from his last effort in acting but nevertheless, he doesn’t suit the role. Ishita Sharma looks innocent and sweet. Nikita Anand performs well, yet needs to be well groomed to inherit the qualities of a performer.
Overall, Dil Dosti Etc is a strict ’time pass’ kinda flick which will not cater to the requirements of a wholesome entertainment.
