EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Soundtrack Warning: Listen to the songs of his album keeping in mind the spirit of the film.
Dum Laga (Singers: Siddharth,Suhas, Suraj Jagan, Hamza) Rating: 6/10
The set up is simple, the notes are not important. It’s the lyrics that connect the song with the young college going students. The spicy tales of the campus is well narrated throughout the track, keeping one expecting some new detail in every paragraph of the track. Quite enjoyable.
Lamha Ye Jayega Kahan (Singers: K Mohan) Rating: 7/10
With a cool rendition from K Mohan, Lamha Ye Jayega Kahan is a special number from Dil Dosti Etc. The lyrics touches your mindset, leaving you craving for a repeated hearing. The song has the tendency to grow after a few hearings. The pop music gives the song its freshness, with an appealing sound quality.
Sambhalo Dil Ko (Singers: Sunidhi Chauhan) Rating: 6/10
Music directors Siddarth and Suhas have done a good job in presenting a mix of various genres in all the songs heard so far from the album. This time, they manage to create a hip n youthful club feel for Sambhalo Dil Ko. Rendered by Sunidhi, the song will fins a special place in the film, if its makers use it in a fashionable way. Hear it for some funky rhythms.
