In other words, ‘Loins of Punjab Presents’ is flat in its approach, and treatment given to the detailing to the characters is indigestible.
Musically, the film offers very little in the form of background score. Keeping things utmost simple.
Actingwise, the director has a wise set of actors who know how to uplift a film by the indepth portrayals of their characters. Shabana Azmi is outstanding. More importantly, it’s the director himself who plays the character of a nerd living in the confused state of dealing with women. Good job Manish!
Nevertheless, after measuring all the pros and cons, it can be said that LOPP fits into the category of class comedy, added with a feel of incompleteness.
