Not happy with the direction of Amol Gupte, Aamir has told him to pack his bags and get going, and in the meantime he himself will take charge behind the camera.
Aamir’s next home production Taare Zameen Paar is a sensitive film about human relationships, and Aamir wants to get the balance right, so wants no hindrences. And that is the exact reason why he has sacked Amol Gupte.
Aamir has decided that it may be time for him to start directing himself, and will begin right here.
