Musically, Lalit has given a decent score in Showbiz but the visuals fail to capture the viewer’s interest.
Actingwise, Tushar Jalota is horrendous in most of the scenes as the actor hams terribly through the film. Mrinalini brings in plasticity in her expressionless. Absolutely baseless! Sushant Singh is good in his crude role. Amin Hajee is ordinary. Gulshan Grover is good. Saurabh Shukla is righly placed.
Overall, Showbiz needs guts and patience to sit through the second half. Though it is better than some of the hits made in Bollywood, thanks to its concept.
