EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Jack and Jill went up the fill; Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. The flow of Showbiz is as weird as my goof-up. Moreover the Bhatts who didn’t promote this flick as they usually do with their productions gave one and all a clear iindication about the fate of the film.
As the film has finally hit the theatres, the performance of three fresh talents are under scrutiny – director Raju Khan, actor Tushar Jalota and actress Mrinalini. Audiences have rejected this film outwardly as the first day collections are ambitiously low.
Storywise, the concept of Showbiz is gripping and quite appealing as it captures the rotten side of media (atleast in the first half). Media derives power from within but in the glamour industry it uses this uncontrolled power as a device to vigorously watch other’s life.
Rohan (Tushar Jalota) is constantly disturbed by the media intervention in his personal life, reason being his astounding success and fame. Rohan is completely satisfied, both in terms of career and personal self, as he has a stunning girlfriend.
