Saturday evening as the Fair & Lovely Zee Astitva Awards saluted and honoured women for their outstanding contributions in their field of work. Organised in association with Archana Trust Suburban, the awards saw a galaxy of stars and achievers in full attendance, to make the evening a memorable one for all those present.
The one aspect that differentiates Zee Astitva Awards from other awards is the “Stellar Achievement Award” which aims to felicitate the ‘everyday’ common women who have made a mark and contributed to society in their own small way.
For e.g. starting a school for mentally challenged children or helping build back the livelihoods of the Tsunami victims by creating items out of waste material. We have started receiving a similar response this year as well by women who want to reach out to a lot more people and expand their scope of activities.
