After the success of Vivah, Rajshri Productions are back with their family entertainers.

The grapevine is abuzz with the speculation that they are planning to remake their earlier film Tapasya.

The film starred Parikshit Sahni and Rakhee Gulzar in the original. Tapasya was one of the super hits in the 1970s and had also received a National Award for the best feature film.
