A special screening of Chak De India was held last Friday for the honourable President of India, Mrs Pratibha Patil.
Yash Chopra along with writer Jaideep Sahni, director Shimit Amin and film’s leading actor Shah Rukh Khan were present during the screening.
The film and the performances were applauded by Mrs Patil. Shah Rukh Khan describes the meeting as he says, “It was a great moment for me. This is the third time I’m being honoured by the most powerful person of our nation. The moment was filled with an aura of awesomeness. To me, she came across as a very sweet lady. She liked the concept of the film and was kind enough to appreciate the performances. Moreover, she also asked me about my injured leg.”
