EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Young buds Rajveer and Neha Julka mark their arrival in the cinematic stage of Hindi Film Industry with Kaisay Kahein, a film by Smita Thackeray. It talks about the long-distance relationship and the after effects of it.
Kaisay Kahein is a simple film, unnecessarily stretched with a biased approach towards the female lead. The film is aimed at the youth and manages to convey that ‘money can buy socialistic pleasures but not love’.
The plot of Kaisay Kahein is an unbalanced act between career, ambition and love. Aditya (Rajveer) is a banker who is all set to acquire the position of COO at a young age of 25! Aditya is content with his life until one day Radhika (Neha Julka) breezes in during a sting operation. Radhika is an ambitious TV journalist, who is hell bent on making a name in the field of journalism.
Initially, Aditya and Radhika decide to keep their personal lives separate from their professional workspace. Easier said than done, their growing careers can’t bear the burden of their love. Radhika decides to accept the promotion that takes her to another city. Aditya is unable to let go off his escalating career to meet the demands of his love.
They are in for a long distance relationship. The separation brings a drastic change in the mindsets of the two individuals. The remaining story is the manner in which the couple rediscovers the passion which reunites them.
