K Sera Sera’s Risk starring Vinod Khanna, Tanushree Datta and Randeep Hooda will release on 15 December. The film has been written and directed by Vishram Sawant who had earlier directed Ram Gopal Varma’s D.
Risk is a thriller story of an honest and upright cop Suryakant (Randeep Hooda). Since many films have been made on subjects dealing with cops, what made director Vishram Sawant make another film? Sawant says, “Risk is not a typical ‘chor-police’ play. It brings forward a serious aspect of a cop’s life – duty. His job itself is a tough risk and doing it honestly a tougher job. Risk salutes the courage of honest officers who are strangled in the system and still doing their duty in true sense.”
K Sera Sera managing director Parag Sanghvi says, “Our association with Vishram has been quite long and fruitful. We have full conviction in Risk. This movie is surely going to hit hard and is food for thought. It breaks away from the stereotype and with this season of meaningful cinema hitting screens, this one will surely leave a mark.”
The film has been shot in Bangkok, Dubai, Austria and Mumbai. It is with this film that Akbar Sami is making his debut as music director.
