Fuel – the fashion store at Chowpatty announced a multi designer trunk show featureingd esigners Ravage, Ummaima, Sarika D, Reena Chopra, Arca and Shilpa Puri. Also present were Bunty Walia, Aditi Gowitrikar, Pia Trivedi and Meghna Naidu.
While the name itself conjures up a glamorous, old world style fashion event, This special in store event will give one. the opportunity to preview the collections and place orders on these styles before they hit the store. It will also be the perfect place to get a peek into forthcoming trends of the festive season.
On preview will be a synthesis of cultures, fabrics and styling. Layered tunics in georgette, flowing silhouettes for the not so daring and backless, shoulder baring numbers for the young and happening, natty embroidered pants, traditional fabrics in largely western silhouettes.
infused with Indian embroidery in vibrant colours will help you to put your best fashion foot forward in the festive season. Also featured are ethnic saris with exiensive embellishments such as gota. zariwork: for the more minimalistlc. there are saris with modern geometrical patterns and crushed fabrics.
This evening is an effort by FUEL to make Fashion available to alL As most of the events at FUEL. this will be an open house event where walk in customers and invitees are encouraged to interact with the designers.
Spearheaded by Falguni and Sushil Jhaved. FUEL houses pret, diffusion. home accessories, fashion jewellery, hand bags and saris. Spread over 5000 sq. ft. The costumer at FUEL has an opportunity select from over 1000 ensembles in a cool, spacious and chic atmosphere. FUEL has over 70 designers at the store.
