A star-studded evening was celebrated as the maestro A. R. Rahrnan unveiled Hariharan’s new album Waqt Par Belna in the city on Tuesday.
Hariharan delighted all with an exhilarating performance from his new album. His new album spiels a synthesis of rhythm & blues fused with Indian gayaki in contemporary style. It showcases Hariharan’s forever brilliant capability as a distinguished artist.
Hariharan’s Waqt Par Belna is a collection of 1 0 songs which are unique in style and fall under the genre of “Urdu Blues”, a terminology coined by Hariharan himself in the year 2000 through his immensely successful album Kaash. Waqt Par Belna is a confluence of diverse cultures and innovative sounds as it captures the sound of musicians from New Orleans, Toronto, London, California and India. The album is a skillful blend of ..Jazz, Rhythm & Blues amalgamated with Indian classical music in modernistic fashion.
