Rakhi Sawant is once again hogging all the limelight after the release of her latest film Buddha Mar Gaya. Though the film has sank without a whimper, the item girl continues to get attention. Her latest target is director Rahul Rawail, who has allegedly asked her to wear bold clothes.
Rumours have it that you wore your own clothes while shooting for the film Buddha Mar Gaya and now asking money for the same. How far is that true?
What’s wrong in that? Director Rahulji gave me such dirty clothes to wear. They were very skimpy. I couldn’t wear such clothes. I am not competing with Mallika Sherawat. That’s why I wore my own clothes.
But don’t you wear bold clothes?
I do wear bold clothes but I have my limitation. I don’t like tops with deep cut neck because I know most people want to peep into my clothes. I can’t expose this much. I wear clothes that give me glamorous looks and not make me look like some C grade actress.
We have heard that you are fascinated with Ram Gopal Verma?
But he doesn’t have any fascination for me. He is making films with couple of actresses of his choice most of the time but I bet if he tries me once he will forget about everyone. I have heard he is making a film called Darling with Nisha Kothari. But I think I will fit into the role of his Darling more than any other actress.
Have you ever faced casting couch in the industry?
Not once but dozens of times. But I have refused to entertain such people. Many directors have tried to make a pass but I have rejected their demand. I am better an item dancer than stoop to such levels to get a role.
