Manmohan Desai’s mile stone film “Amar Akbar Anthony” now you will see on big screen with new look, new style, new face in Bhojpuri language. Produced by Rajesh Sharma under his banner “Show Man International” and directed by Manish Jain. Muhurt of this film was held on 18th August, 2007 at Fun Republic, New Link Road, Andheri (W),
Mumbai-53, where media persons and many celebrities of Bollywood and Bhojpuri Cinema was present. Bhojpuri super star Manoj Tiwari ‘Mridul’ is playing character of Amar, Dineshlal Yadav ‘Nirahu’ playing Akbar and Sikandar Kharbanda is playing Anthony.
On this occasion actors of this picture taken getsup as in original “Amar Akbar Anthony” Amitabh Bachachan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor was getuped. Muhurt shot was directed by famous producer-director Raman Kumar, clapped by actor Rahul Bhatt and Camera on by director Aslam Sheikh.
Director Manish Jain told to media persons that his “Amar Akbar Anthony” will differ in many point from original “Amar Akbar Anthony” like in original “Amar Akbar Anthony” was son of same mother, in this Bhojpuri film Amar, Akbar and Anthony are friends and Hindu, Mulsim and Christian guys which are friends and for country’s security they are changing their getups.
Lyrics by Vipin Bahar and music by Dhananjay Mishra. Co-producer Arif Sheikh. Manoj Tiwari told to media that “Amar Akbar Anthony” is his all time favourite film and we are trying give such a product to viewers on which they feel proud.
Sikandar Kharbanda playing role of Anthony told I have double bill – first I have got a chance working with Bhojpuri King Manoj Tiwari and secondly I am playing role Anthony which was played by Amitabh Bachachan in original. Shooting will be held India, Malaysia, London etc.
