Divya Dutta will soon be seen in Anup Das’s Life Express – a film on the fast-paced life of today’s women. To be released on August 27, the film also stars Rituparna Sengupta, Kiran Janjani, and Yashpal Sharma.
Describing an interesting incident on the sets, Divya said she had to give a retake even after giving a perfect shot. The scene required her to fall down a staircase.
Divya’s first few takes were not natural and the director asked for one more. Divya took a break and then gave a perfect take. However, her fall was so realistic that one of the light men went to help her, while the camera was rolling, thinking she had indeed fallen down the stairs!
In the film, Divya will be seen in a deglamourised role of a village women who comes to city to become a surrogate mother.
