Chak De India opened at number 20 on the box-office charts. Its collection from 62 theatres showed that Shah Rukh, who has an invincible record in the US and UK, could not make the film a success.

Chak De’s first three days collections from the North American box office could merely reach a all time low of $351,000.

The film has received rave reviews from major publications across the globe. Nevertheless, Yash Raj Films box office slump continues after a sheepish Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.
