Amrita Singh, who was last seen playing a spoiling mother of Viveik Oberoi in Apoorva Lakhia’s Shootout At Lokhandwala, has now been signed by producer Sanjay Gupta to play another unique role.

She will play the character of Minisha Lamba’s mother in Puran Masi. The film will be directed by Meghna Gulzar.

Sanjay says, “Apoorva Lakhia’s cabin has been cleared and Meghna Gulzar has moved into her cabin.”
