Production and Distribution company Baba Films made news when it bought the Mumbai rights of Om Shanti Om for a lumpsum amount of Rs 11 crores.

Baba Film executive director explains the reason for making such a move, “The film is releasing during the Diwali period when we can get a clear run due to vacations.”

He added saying that “Farah Khan had earlier had a huge commercial success with Main Hoon Na. We are confident of the film’s success at the box-office.”
