EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
After the worldwide acclaim of Apne, the expectations with Sunny Deol’s Kaafila are nothing less than skyhigh. The film propagates a unique theme of human trafficking. The music of Kaafila is composed by Sukhwinder Singh and lyrics are written by Babu Singh Maan. The soundtrack has nothing extraordinary to offer, with most of the songs even failing to qualify as an average listening experience.
Chala Kaafila (Singers: Shanaanaa Pandit, Sukhwinder Singh, Gursewak Mann )
Rating: 4/10
Chala Kaafila is a outcome of a confused state of mind. With music lingering somewhere between the genres of folk and club mix, Chala Kaafila boasts of a strong blend of North Indian music with unnecessary westernized musical goof ups.

Hum Raks (Singers: Daler Mehendi, Sukhwinder Singh)
Rating: 4/10
Daler Mehndi and Sukhwinder Singh team up to croon Hum Raks. The song isn’t sung in an appropriate manner. The sound quality is good with the beats churning out Punjabi folk on the tunes of Turkish musical arrangement. There is a club mix in the offering which isn’t appealing at all.

Jab Tak Hai Saans (Singers: Sukhwinder Singh, Abhijeet)
Rating:3/10
Jab Tak Saans Hai has been crooned by Sukhwinder Singh, Abhijeet and a female voice (unfortunately, she is not listed in the credits). The music composed is almost indistinguishable with a noisy chorus forming the orchestra. Being a sad song Jab Tak Hai Saans offers nothing, not even soulful lyrics to touch your heart.
