Chak De India has been given an A certificate and been classed as a thriller by the Indian censor board.
The film is all set for release this Friday and sees Shah Rukh Khan play a Muslim ex-hockey player who coaches a team of sexy Indian girls to glory in the Women’s World Cup.
The film is expected to rejuvenate the lacking Box Office collections of Yash Raj Films, after the horrendous performances by two previous releases Tara Rum Pum and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.
The movie might receive tough competition from a Sunny Deol flick which releases on the same day. The much delayed adventure movie Kaafila sees Sunny once again in a movie with a Pakistani theme. The last time Sunny Deol and Shah Rukh Khan went head to head was when Indian beat Asoka a few years ago.
