Black master Sanjay Leela Bhansali is trying his best to avoid a clash of release date with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Om Shanti Om.
He has tried sending feelers to Shah Rukh Khan, but is not meeting with any positive response of any kind to postpone his film. Bhansali, many months back, had zeroed down on November 9 as the release date of Sawariya.
He had no competition in front of his film, which has generated tremendous curiosity value in the film circles and fans alike. But King Khan has suddenly started readying his film for release on the same date.

BOTH FILMS CAN COME ON DIWALI DATE i.e. 9th Nov. Diwali being a bountiful period. Both will be patronised by cinegoers provided they are well made. Else if the Producers decide upon to avoid clash then OM SHANTI OM can be preponed to Idd which is falling 3 weeks ahead of Diwali. Shah Rukh has a huge fan following Overseas and Idd period will rake in huge moolah and Diwali will again prove bountiful.

Kindly do not quote the results of Janeman and Don. Janeman was well made but did’nt have pace .Don was fast paced and slick. Salman can surely draw huge audiences equal to SRK . See the track record of S.L.B. He could make a Hit film on old and dry subject like DEVDAS. Has any other director attempted film on the subject like BLACK ? It need guts to make such movies. Both movies can come on Diwali. The well made movie will run. There is no competition.
You talk about subject of black,lets talk about KANK though its subject is the most hated thing on earth but still holds the record of overseas for more than 3,5 million dollers.as long the movie has king khan it wont flop,if it does its only in india but always it is a hit in the overseas.
