Diwali time is considered most lucrative in terms of business for Bollywood. The past decade’s record of Bollywood releases during Diwali is proof of this.

With multiple films releasing on that day, the business often gets divided or one film ends up as the winner and the rest suffer losses.

Like in the case of last year’s SRK starrer, Don and Salman-Akshay starring Jaan-E-Mann – the former a clear winner and the latter a massive flop.
