The only saving grace of the film is the style in which it has been shot. The first hour is a complete dud whereas the second part is comparatively more grasping.
Director Anubhav Sinha failed to realize the loose ends in the story. The nonsensical storyline added with the equally worse screenplay are the biggest criminals of ‘Cash’. Writers Yash-Vinay have succeeded in penning a disappointing blunder for the cinegoers.
Action scenes are well shot and match the standards set by any top class Hollywood action flick. Vishal Shekhar’s music is enjoyable and catchy. Cinematography is electrifying. Dialogues are forced.Colours look good on the palette, but the canvas is pathetic.
Actingwise, the actors are nothing but a bunch of jokers kidding around in the film. Except for Riteish Deshmukh, all others are ordinary. Ajay Devgan lends in a heartless performance. Suniel Shetty is repeated. Zayed is hammy.
Ayesha Takia lightens the screen with her presence. Shamita and Esha play vague characters. Dia is okay and definitely the better one.
On the whole, Cash is a waste of strict waste of your hard earned cash. Next Friday release Chak De India will clearly sweep Cash off the charts.
