EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Insight Productons and Morpheus Media Ventures bring together Dulha Mil Gaya. The movie marks the directorial debut for Mudassar Aziz and the actress Ishita Sharma.
The story revolves around a young eligible bachelor Donsai (Fardeen Khan) with handsome looks who refrains from committing to anyone. He doesn’t at all believe in marriage and relationships. On the other hand there is Samarpreet (Ishita Sharma) a Punjabi kudi, who deeply believes in relationship, marriages and for her love is life.
Shimmer (Sushmita Sen) is a diva and an icon from the world of fashion, who like Donsai also thinks that relationships and love are not so important in one’s life as much as success and fame are. And there is Pawan Raj Gandhi (ShahRukh Khan) a stylish and debonair billionaire, who after achieveing and having everything in life still belives the love to be the most important factor for any individuals life.
Thus with such diverse personalites and pole apart thinking, when the four meet and come across, their lives influence each other and the view point on love and commitments change, giving a new headway and meaning to individuals life.
The story seems to be extremely simple and straight forward with least twist and turns. When one sees the movie he experiences the film to be a blend of few of epic the love stories from the past like Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaaenge etc. However this movie fails to prove as big as these great love stories the reason- blame it to the director and the writer.
Debutante director Mudassar Aziz is immature and his direction illustrate plenty of flaws. The story of the movie fails to provide any fresh content to the audience and disappoints completely. The music of the movie is not at all absorbing. The lyrics are below average, choreography completely off beat and composition below-par. Even the actors dishearten through their performances.
Except for Sushmita Sen, some beautiful locations and few good scenes here and there, the movie turns out to be a complete bore. In short Dulha Mil Gaya fails to deliver at box-office.
