EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
The story is about a man named Rahul (Rajat Kapoor) who wakes up with a bad hangover as he parties hard the previous night. Rahul in the party comes across a sexy and hot woman named Sophia (Neha Dhupia). The two get drunk, get closer and Rahul doesn’t remember what happens after that.
Next morning Rahul’s wife Mitali (Irawati Harshe Mayadev) is completely pissed off and he suspects that his wife may come to know about the night. Thus to prevent the hullabaloo Rahul starts recollecting his night and find out what exactly had happened in the party. Thus the best way according to him to get out of this problem is to meet Sophia again and get the answers.
The movie sounds similar and seems to be on the lines of the Hollywood flick ‘Hangover’ when Rajat Kapoor tries to solve the mystery of the last night. However this is the only common factor one can relate and rest the movie disappoints highly unlike Hangover.
The movie proceeds at a very slow pace and fails to create any enthusiasm or excitement amongst viewers. All the life and the pace of the movie come just 30 minutes prior to the climax.
Saurabh Shukla’s direction is not as great as his acting. Saurabh Shukla and Rajat Kapoor’s screenplay greatly dishearten the viewers and lets you down. The fail to create and maintain the interest throughout and humour comes in bits and pieces. Ankur Tewari’s music is below average and hardly adds on to the movie.
The only thing good about the movie are the actors. All the actors do their part well and justify their presence.
In short the movie fails!!!
