Actress Shamitta Shetty, of late, seems to be playing the brand ambassador to her elder sister Shilpa Shetty. She has been busying herself with clarifying rumours about Shilpa’s link-ups and other allegations.
The Raj Kundra episode (Kundra is allegedly dating Shilpa) has upset her so much that she is going from one place to another telling everyone that all these are nothing but rumours.
Says Shamita, “Shilpa herself has clarified that nothing exists between Raj and her. In fact, she has threatened legal action against people attempting to malign her reputation”.
“It’s unfortunate that some people are hell bent on tarnishing her image with such irresponsible behaviour. All these talks about her are mere gossips. Shilpa doesn’t hide anything from me. We share everything with each other. Be it our likes or dislikes or any other thing.”
“I really get hurt when I come to the press is writing all dirty stuff about her. I always stand by my sister. Whatever she has achieved hitherto is just remarkable. I am very proud of her”
But what makes her realise that her sister is so truthful to her? Reasons Shamita, “People had once linked up Shilpa with filmmaker Anhubhav Sinha. Surprisingly,I worked with Anhubhav Sinha and found him an amazing person. I appreciate the way he handles his actors. I never saw him indulging with his actresses unnecessarily.”
